Policy Recommendations on Solid Waste Management in Cross-Border Rural and Coastal Areas of South Eastern European Region
During the NALAS 2016 General Assembly, held in Prishtina on 14 and 15 April 2016, NALAS delegates adopted Policy Recommendations on Solid Waste Management in Cross-Border Rural and Coastal Areas of South Eastern European Region.
The Policy Recommendations appeal to national and regional governments, local elected officials and local governments, and donors and international partners to implement urgent actions to adress the seriousness of the issue of waste pollution in the regions of Adriatic Coast, Tara-Drina-Sava and Sharr Mountain causing trans-boundary environmental and economic impacts.

List of NALAS Quick Responses in 2017-2019
The NALAS Quick Response Service remains one of the NALAS' most appreacied and utulized services. Throughout 2017-2019 the NALAS Quick Response continued to produce policy arguments for NALAS member Associations in their advocacy efforts to improve legislation and environment affecting local governments in South-East Europe, but also improve Associations' institutional capacities and the services they offer to their member LGs.

In 2016, the Quick Response (QR) Service, as an instrument of the NALAS Knowledge Centre, has been used to produce policy arguments for NALAS member Associations in their advocacy efforts to improve legislation and environment affecting local governments in South-East Europe, but also improve Associations' institutional capacities and the services they offer to their member LGs.
