Semra Amet joined NALAS Secretariat in September, 2017, from the position of Program Assistant at American Councils for International Education Macedonia. She holds a degree in law studies from the “Ss.Cyril and Methodius University” in Skopje. During her studies, she interned at the International Arbitration Law firm, Konrad & Partners. She has extensive training on and has been involved in many projects revolving around human rights, gender equality, democratic and political culture, interethnic dialogue and social entrepreneurship. From 2014- 2016 she was a Program Coordinator of the Sport and Art for Peace for Children Programme, at Generations for Peace. Semra has also worked with the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities Skopje on democracy, decentralization and gender equality researches.
