NALAS General Assembly
Meeting
The Third NALAS General Assembly Meeting was held in Bucharest, on 14 December 2007. It was organized with support of Romanian Federation of Local Authorities. Delegates, liaison officers, as well as experts from all member associations were present and participated actively. Seventeen delegates of the total number of 24 delegates of the NALAS General Assembly attended the meeting.
A new presidency was elected: Mr. Tarzan Milosevic was re-elected for his second mandate as NALAS President, while Mr. Vladimir Moskov and Mr. Vasile Balan are the new NALAS Vice-Presidents. The General Assembly also approved the NALAS 2007 reports and adopted the 2008 Work Plan and budget.

Workshops
Two workshops were held at the Tulip Inn Bucharest City hotel on the 13 December 2007. Two of the NALAS Task Forces, the Task Force on Fiscal Decentralization and the Task Force on Urban Planning reported on their current activities and presented the ongoing and emerging projects. The results of the workshops were presented the following day at the NALAS General Assembly Meeting.
