Read moreThe conference “Acting together in migration management – enhancing coordination among central and local level” is organised by NALAS and MARRI as a follow up to the Conference "Challenges and impact of refugee crisis for Local Governments in South-East Europe" organized in Zagreb in October 2015 by NALAS, where local governments have been identified as first affected by the refugee influx, thus they have to be considered as a key stakeholder and supported by the national government and international community in dealing with the refugee influx issue. Local governments appealed for better coordination at regional level and that the national governments, the European Union, the donors and other relevant actors take urgent measures to address the following immediate and long term priorities.
